Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης: Sustainable Technologies of Energy Resources and Raw Materials (2024-2025)

The call for applications for the Postgraduate Program of Studies in "Sustainable Technologies of Energy Resources and Raw Materials", with two specializations:

  • Ι. Sustainable Technologies for Exploitation of Energy Resources-Environment and
  • II. Sustainable Technologies for Exploration and Exploitation of Raw Materials- Recycling,

(academic year 2024-2025, spring semester) is open from 10/1/2025 – 6/2/2025.

Applicants are requested to submit the following documents (official transcripts, translated in English where necessary):

  1. Copies of acquired degrees/diplomas.
  2. Certificate of undergraduate courses and grades achieved.
  3. Certificate of accreditation by Hellenic NARIC, for degrees from foreign institutions (if not available it may be submitted after the start of the program, until the end of the student’s course enrolment in the current semester).
  4. Copies of English Language Certificates (and of any other foreign language, where applicable).
  5. Extended Curriculum Vitae.
  6. Personal information and statement describing academic interest in specific graduate studies, including the preferable specialization area.
  7. Two (2) letters of recommendation at least one from Academia.

The applications have to be submitted via the online application system (https://e-graduate.tuc.gr). All legal documents should be officially translated in English or Greek. The deadline for the application submission including all documents is February 6, 2025. Information about processing of personal data for the purposes of evaluation and registration, in addition to the collection of the supporting documents, can be found in Admission - School of Mineral Resources Engineering.

For candidates who have submitted all required documents, personal interviews will take place on-line between 7 and 11 of February.

Courses for the Master’s degree will be taught in English. The Master’s thesis will be written in English.

Modules will be taught both with in person and with online participation using e-learning platforms.

Enrolment fee: 500 Euro

Additional course fees for non-European candidates (3 semesters): 1500 Euro (500 Euro/semester).
